Resume builder worked out

I tried out their Resume Builder last month because my old resume needed a refresh. Didn't expect much but it was actually pretty user-friendly. Just filled in my info and it formatted everything nicely. Downloaded it as a PDF right away. Got a few callbacks from jobs I applied to with it, so I guess it did its job. Only downside is some of the templates looked a bit basic, but it was free.

Used them for employer branding

I've used Monster a few times now for our recruitment needs. This last time around we focused on their Employer Branding services. We ran some campaigns to show off our company culture and it seemed to help attract more qualified candidates. It felt like we got better engagement compared to just regular job postings we did last year. The account manager was responsive, which is always a plus. Pricing can add up, but for the results we saw, it was a worthwhile investment. We'll probably go with them again next quarter.

Yeah for sure, I actually just landed a new role through Monster last month. I found their job alerts pretty good for keeping up with new postings, especially in specific industries. It felt more targeted than some other sites.

I think it totally depends on what kind of job you're looking for. For certain fields like tech or healthcare, Monster still gets a lot of exclusive postings. I'd say just try it out, make sure your resume is solid, and set up some alerts. It's free to search anyway.
